Welcome to the Richmond Korean Baptist Church Children's Ministry!
We are delighted that you have chosen to visit us. We offer a variety of programs for children from birth through fifth grade during
every Sunday worship service and our Wednesday night service. We want to make the most of every moment that we have with the
children. We strive to make Biblical truths come alive! It is our prayer that every child will make a personal decision and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and be baptized.

Preschool Ministry provides a safe, secure and loving environment for children ages 2 years through Kindergarten.
Tender, loving volunteer teachers help children understand that God made them and loves them. Through Biblical stories, music, playtime, and crafts, children are introduced to Jesus as someone who wants to be their best friend forever!
Bible Study : Sunday 11:10 - 12:00pm
In Bible study, children are taught Biblical principles that are reinforced with fun, hands-on activities, and crafts.

You are able to stay with your babies in the Nursery and follow the service through the TV.

Toddlers(Ages 1-2): Room 214, Leader: Jong Ohk Jeong
This age group contains the most energetic children. We provide these vigorous little ones with appropriate age toys and playroon while the adults follow the service through the TV.

유아부는 1살 부터 2살 까지 막 걸어다니는 아이들과 함께 영상으로 예배를 드립니다. 아이들의 인격이 형성되고 신체가 발달하며, 사회 적응능력이 생기는 시기이므로 쾌적한 환경과 아이들의 신체발달을 돕는 장난감과 놀이 시설로 꾸며져 있습니다.

Our teachers help lay a solid foundation of true-to-the-Bible teaching through the introduction of basic Biblical stories.
Kindergarten: Room 114 - Teacher Jina Ko, Room 116 - Teacher Manny Lee
Our teachers encourage children to respond to narratives, and develop spiritual characteristics through interactive lessons.
Teachers also provide fun and enriching activities each week.
Elementary Ministry

Elementary Ministry provides a safe and loving environment for children to worship and meet new friends. Through worship and Bible
study, children learn how to have an awesome relationship with Jesus and how to live for Him each day. Elementary Ministry also offers many fun events throughout the year to strengthen their walk with Christ.
Elementary Worship includes praise music, prayer, story time, offering, and message. We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings
for an exciting worship adventure from 10:30am to 11:20am

Children's Bible study combines powerful and understandable Biblical principles in a fun atmosphere and creative learning activities.

1st graders develop a deeper understanding of God. Word by learning basic Biblical stories and practicing important life skills: worshipping God, following Jesus, choosing to do what is right.
2nd Grade: Room 202, Teacher: SooHee Choi, Eliza Lee
Children explore Biblical stories that relate to lesson concept, Students learn to understand how the Scriptures apply to their everyday lives, and how to put them into practice.
3-4th Grade: Room 202, Teacher: Stella Choe, William Kim
We provide 3rd and 4th graders with the essentials they need to grow spiritually, incorporate God's Word in their lives, and grow strong in their faith.
5th Grade: Room 211, Teacher: HwaSoo Yeo
Our teacher leads the 5th graders to understand what the Bible says about preteen life issues, encourage commitment to their faith in God, and helps them use the Bible to make daily decisions.
Children's Choir (Promise Land)

Special Event Music Teacher: Aram Bae
Children's Choir meets on Sunday mornings from 12:10pm - 1:00pm. The choir performs during the 10:30am worship service three to four times a year.
Special Event: Christmas musical and Church Anniversary Songs.
Children's Choir will only last from September through May.
Wednesday Ministry
During 7:30 - 8:30pm, children engage in a mid-week program while their parents have the opportunity to attend Bible study.
Newsletter
Families will now receive a newsletter with important information related to the development of each child at Richmond Church. The newsletter will provide an overview for the month, highlights for the Children's ministry, program features, and lots more! You will also find a copy of our newsletter online under the forum section of this webpage.
Other Activities
Movie Night & Good bye Night
Our teachers show our children movies occasionally to encourage them to come every Sunday. Worship, movies, prizes and dinner are offered.
Talent Market
According to attendances, good behavior, homework, and memorizing Bible verse, we are providing children prizes during the
talent market, which is semiannually.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
VBS will give your child a wonderful experience of community and faith through activities, Scripture, drama, crafts, songs, treats, and lots more!
Hallelujah Night
Children, preschoolers through 5th graders, and their families participate in a wonderful evening of worship and fun.
There are dinner,games and prizes for all ages.
